A cool little feature in ManyChat is the Keyword option that will help you interact with your users without actually being there. Keywords are used to automate your bot replies when a user asks something. If your user mentions that keyword the messenger bot will reply with the selected content.
There are already two default keywords everybody who uses this messenger platform is familiar with: Start
and Stop
. These will subscribe
, or unsubscribe
users from your chatbot.
If you know your users well, you also know that there are common questions being asked all the time. If you're in the same business for a while, you'll notice that over 80% of the people ask the same questions over and over again. This keyword feature is an ideal method to handle these questions. You can also use it to send people some information in an attachment, for example a PDF with additional business information or industry news.
