How to Become a Chatbot Ninja in 7 Days
Module 2: Lesson 2.5. Re-usable contact form flow
Lesson 2.5. Re-usable contact form flow
To keep our flows clean and easy to maintain, we isolate certain flows. For example a flow where we can ask for contact information.
In the following image you can see our re-usable contact form flow where we sent the user to. This is a separate chat flow we keep apart from the main flow so we can re-use it for all other flows.
This flow contains all the necessary information we need to qualify the user as a good lead. For us, it was just a name, telephone number and a valid email address. For you it may be more data or fields of interest.
You can easily expand this flow, which is one of the strengths of keeping it separate. You can extend it once and it will be the same for all flows that use this particular contact information flow.
As soon as the user gets a request from us to give some of his valuable data, (s)he is immediately subscribed to a sequence. If we do not get all the information we require, he will get a notification with a friendly request to come and finish the flow where we ask for his information. We can do this a couple times, unless he said No, or Unsubscribed by typing Stop. Then we will obviously leave him alone.
These methods are powerful ways to re-engage with your subscriber in the event of him/her dropping of too soon. We’ll teach more about that in the next chapter.
